Application Process

Our application process is meant to help us get to know you better-not to evaluate your writing or video-making abilities. We want to discover your team's personalities, passions, and dedication.

The process consists of three parts: 1) a video or written interest letter, 2) a written application, and 3) a virtual interview with RYSE Hub team members. The teams chosen for an interview will get to ask questions of the Hub team, as it's important for you all to get to know us as well.

Part 3: Short Team Interview (invite only)

As the last part of our application process, we want you to meet some of the RYSE Hub team and we want to learn more about your team and innovation. Prior to the interview, teams will receive clear guidance on what to anticipate. Following interviews, RYSE will select 3-4 teams to participate in our first cohort.

We want to inform you that your interest in our Hub may be shared with other Innovation Hubs. This allows us to refer you to other Hubs that may be more aligned with your experience and innovation needs. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to connect talented organizations like yours with the best possible opportunities during this funding cycle.

IDT Expectations:

  • Fully participate in our cohort from September 1, 2024 to August 30, 2025
  • Collaborate with the RYSE Hub's Innovation Support Team to create a personalized support plan
  • Join monthly coaching calls with subject matter experts to advance your innovation
  • Work with your team on activities to advance your innovation (activities will vary by team)
  • Participate in monthly peer-to-peer learning collaboratives (frequency may change)
  • Showcase your innovation at our annual Demo Day
  • Submit quarterly performance measures and progress reports
  • Provide structured feedback to the RYSE Hub team through quarterly reflection sessions and bi-annual surveys to improve cohort experience
