K12 Title IX Stakeholder Consultation Hour
Consultation for School & Community Stakeholders
Unfortunately, students and their families don’t always have many options when it comes to getting clear information and guidance around Title IX, the federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs that receive federal funds.
The bottom line is that Title IX requires K12 school districts to effectively eliminate, prevent, and address sexual and gender-based harassment and sexual assault in the school community. For more introductory information on Title IX, please visit our FAQ pages in English and Spanish.

- Parents who want to learn more about Title IX and how to keep students safe
- Students who are ready to advocate for meaningful change in their school district
- Persons directly involved in Title IX cases who need support navigating their district's investigation and remediation process as a complainant, respondent, witness, or advisor
- School- and community-based stakeholders who want to strengthen their school's prevention and intervention efforts
