LMS Integration Details
ETR's HealthSmart is certified for LTI v.1.0+ by 1EdTech™. Learning Tools Interoperability® (LTI®) is a set of standards and specifications developed by 1EdTech™ that defines a way for educational technology tools, such as HealthSmart, to integrate with an LMS platform in a secure and scalable manner. Check out our press release to learn more!
When HealthSmart is integrated with an LMS, the LMS sends ETR information about the user and course at launch time. Below is the information from the LMS that HealthSmart utilizes:
- Google account ID, if applicable
- User name (first, last, full)
- User email address, if applicable
- User role (teacher, student)
- Course name
- Assignment name, if applicable
- Assignment draft, if applicable
- Submitted assignment for grading, if applicable
- Assignment score
The Integrated Digital subscription of HealthSmart authenticates users (educators and students) using Single-Sign On (SSO) via OAuth2 and/or LTI launch link through a compatible LMS platform, providing application features to access content and assign, grade, and complete student work within the LMS. All digital student resources are ADA compliant by meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Student worksheets and related resources are provided in English and Spanish versions. Rostering is not necessary for an integrated HealthSmart setup; however, ETR offers roster integrations such as OneRoster® if required by the school district.
