The BE strategies of convenience and reminders were utilized for this part of the program. A HAT nurse reviews fact sheets on HPV infections and vaccinations while answering any questions. The HAT nurse can also assist participants in accessing their own electronic medical records to review their vaccination status, given that many people are unaware of this preventive health information. Finally, the HAT nurse can encourage adolescents to set future reminders in their own personal mobile devices to schedule and receive these shots over the coming months. Because HPV vaccinations are not permitted during pregnancy, automatic reminders are encouraged to help remind adolescents to pursue these preventative services after their pregnancies end.
