Biography
Hi there! My name is Rodney Gordon (he/him/his) and I am super excited to join the ETR Finance team as Controller. I am eager to explore how my passion for process improvements and organizational efficiency can be applied to support ETR’s mission.
With over 20 years’ combined experience in electric utility, telecommunications, banking, media and non-profit industries, I join ETR after most recently serving as the Senior Accountant for Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, a Wall Street non-profit, where I introduced various initiatives to improve budgeting/forecasting, monthly reporting and the accounts payables, monthly and yearly close processes. I am a licensed CPA and a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona.
I am originally from Jamaica (the country) and currently reside in Jamaica Queens, New York. I am not a big TV sports fan (that’s my wife’s department) but I enjoy participating in various competitive sporting or gaming activities (trash-talk included) although dominoes is my go to game.
I look forward to connecting and collaborating with you all as we explore initiatives that support our mission and help ETR to level-up!
