Biography
Michael Terry Everett EdD is a Philadelphia native currently living in Long Beach who has spent 20+ years in services to HIV/Public Health workforce and social justice groups. As a father, and queer person of color Everett is passionate wellness. As Capacity-Builder, Dr. Everett has strategically sought-after key positions that facilitate the advancement of equity from the Harm Reduction Coalition (HRC) as an advocate for drug users' rights, as a Senior Research Associate at ETR overseeing a body of work that bridges the intersections of sexual health, organizational development /program management, e-learning content developer, and now as ETR’s Chief People & Culture Officer. Dr. Everett has supported hundreds of individuals both in the United States and internationally in navigating sexual, social health and emotional wellness while centering marginalized voices to help combat anti-Blackness. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from Penn State, a Master’s in Human Services from Lincoln University and a doctorate degree in education with Fielding Graduate University.
