Biography
Fadya Abdullah (she/her) is the Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator for the Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of California (TECC) program. She coordinates TECC's social media and digital marketing strategies to drive growth and engagement, focusing on content development, including social media captions and newsletter copy.
Prior to her work at ETR, she was the Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator at the nonprofit, CASA (Community Action, Service & Advocacy) for over two years. There, she focused on improving communities by connecting people with essential tobacco education and cessation resources while fostering community engagement in CASA’s programs. Her professional experience also includes diverse roles in marketing across various industries.
Fadya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from San Diego State University, with double minors in Digital and Social Media Studies and Arabic and Islamic Studies, as well as a certificate in Arabic Language.
