Biography

Christina Ortiz, MPH (she/her) is the Innovation Support Manager at ETR, where she supports a community of innovators with the shared goal of developing youth-driven innovations to promote young people’s sexual health and reduce teen pregnancy, STI’s and their associated risk as part of RYSE Innovation Hub: Reimagining Young People’s Sexual Health Equity.

Christina joins ETR from New York City with over 15 years of experience as facilitator and advocate with a strong passion for sexual and reproductive health and justice, sexual violence prevention, community-informed programming, and youth engagement and development. Christina has had the privilege of being an invited guest lecturer, speaker, and panelist at both local and national conferences, K-12 and higher education institutions, community-based organizations, and events.

With a BA in Biology from Rutgers University and an MPH from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, Christina has dedicated her career to serving historically excluded communities, connecting with communities, creating conversations, and driving change.
