Biography
Brigitte Bishop is the Senior Accountant at ETR. She is the Finance Lead for all 40+ of ETR’s Federal, State and private grant funded projects, which support ETR’s Health Equity mission. In addition, she is responsible for the Accounts Receivable function for ETR, while also providing support for audits, payroll, and other accounting related tasks. Brigitte joined ETR’s accounting team in January of 2017.
In 2010, while completing an associate degree in Accounting at Cabrillo College, she was hired as the Finance Manager and full charge bookkeeper at the Santa Cruz AIDS Project, where she worked until their merger with Encompass Services of Santa Cruz in 2012. Thereafter, she worked for a number of years as a General Ledger and Fixed Assets accountant at Uplift Services, formerly EMQ (Eastfield Ming Quong): a California based nonprofit agency focusing on support and mental health services for foster children and at-risk minors. Uplift Services is nationally recognized for their encompassing care model for vulnerable youth and is a leader in the children’s mental health field. During 2016, Brigitte worked at the Scotts Valley Water District as their Accounting Specialist, where she was responsible for the district’s general ledger, payroll and fixed asset accounting, before being hired by ETR.
Brigitte brings extensive experience in general ledger, payroll, fixed asset, and governmental grant accounting to ETR. She has a BS in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
